                       Summary - Forrest Gump

The film ‘Forrest Gump’ is about a man who’s name is Forrest Gump and he’s a bit retarded and at the same time very unique. In the film Forrest get to do alot of different things. For example get got to met the president John F Kennedy and shake his hand, twice.
Forrest was a person who was up for anything and maybe that’s why he ended up to be a soldier in the Vietnam war. In the army he got a friend who was called ”Bubba”, Bubba then got shot when they were out on mission and died in Forrest’s arms. Forrest army had a ping pong team that Forrest joined, he was really good at it and got to play against other countries.
Forrest had a childhood friend who he always had have a crush on, her name was Jenny and she at first just thought about Forrest as a friend. When she became an adult she joined a hippie group, who wasn’t very good for her, they got her to take drugs and she nearly jumped of a high building. Forrest had always tried to get her to stay with him, but she didn’t want to.
One time when Jenny came to visit Forrest she became pregnant with his child, but didn’t tell him. Near the ending part of the film she stayed with Forrest and got very sick and died. Leaving Forrest with their child who she had named Forrest as well.

Tom was borned on the July the 9 year 1956, he’s still alive and lives in LA, U.S.A. He’s an american actor and have been in many famous movies for example; Forrest Gump (1944), Saving private Ryan (1998), Apollo 13 (1955) and The Da Vinci Code (2006). Tom Hanks has been nominated to many awards and he have also won many like; a Golden Globe and a People’s Choice Award for best actor, thanks to his role in Forrest Gump.
Tom Hanks have 4 children, he got Colin and Elizabeth Hanks with an actress named Samantha Lewis who he also got married to, but they got divorced in 1987. One year after Tom and Samantha got divorced he got married to Rita Wilson who was a actress and they got two sons,  who they named Chester Marlon and Truman Theodore.
